If Netanyahu Arrives in Canada, He Will Be Arrested: Prime Minister

Canada respects the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC), and if Netanyahu arrives in Canada, he will be arrested, said Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who recently resigned from his post, as well as for Mohammed Deif, the chief commander of the Hamas group, which is recognized as a terrorist organization by the West.

The ICC claims to have grounds to conclude that the pair of Netanyahu and Gallant bear criminal responsibility for using starvation as a weapon, murders, persecution, and other inhumane acts.
