Enhanced Security Near Anti-Corruption Committee as Vardan Ghukasian is Brought in

Vardan Ghukasian, the mayor of Gyumri, is currently being transferred to Yerevan to the Anti-Corruption Committee located at 1 Moskovyan Street. This information is reported by News.am.

At this moment, police officers are implementing enhanced security measures in the mentioned area, and their numbers are steadily increasing. There is also heightened surveillance near the Ministry of Internal Affairs building on Nalbandyan Street.

It should be noted that substantial operational and investigative measures have been taken by the investigative department of the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, leading to the acquisition of factual data regarding allegations of requesting and receiving bribes by the mayor of Gyumri and the chief architect.
