The Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, made a post on his Facebook page addressing the events and arrests happening in the Gyumri city hall.

“Did you hear the conversation between Vardanik and his architect, where they discussed making millions through corrupt mechanisms? This is the alternative to the 'Civil Contract', dear people. The choice is yours; we have not forged and will not forge a choice. If this is unacceptable, and I am confident it is unacceptable for the vast majority of our people, then go to the polls in all elections and reject the old mess, whose only goal is to rob and humiliate you,” he wrote.
