Netanyahu Orders Decisive Actions in Gaza Following Attacks

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the commencement of operations against terrorist targets in Gaza, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's office reported by Sky News Arabia. The office clarified that Netanyahu held a security consultation with the Minister of Defense and security officials following violations of the ceasefire by Hamas.

Earlier, the U.S. State Department warned Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt that Hamas was reportedly preparing to violate the ceasefire in Gaza. The U.S. has expressed its willingness to take measures to protect the civilian population. The State Department also described the planned attack as a direct and blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement.

However, Hamas has denied these allegations, calling them false and accusing Israel of breaching the ceasefire following the strikes in Gaza. The attacks were a response to an assault on Israeli forces in Rafah, as reported by The Times of Israel.

Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir subsequently requested Netanyahu to resume large-scale military operations in the Gaza Strip following the attack on Israeli forces in Rafah.
