Russian Defense Ministry on Peacekeepers Activities in Artsakh
Russian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out their mission in Nagorno-Karabakh, according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.
“At 30 observation posts, Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation and compliance with the ceasefire regime around the clock. No violations have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian military group,” the statement reads.
Patrols have been carried out in three directions: in the Martuni, Martakert regions, and the Lachin corridor.
Earlier, the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh reported that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the western direction using small arms and an AGS-17 grenade launcher. As a result of the ceasefire violation, Defense Army servicemen H. A. and M. V. were injured.
