Explosion in Gavarr City: One Injured

On October 19, at 6:34 AM, the emergency management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue department received a call reporting an explosion in an apartment on Mikaelyan Street in Gavarr city.

Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. Preliminary reports indicate that a gas leak and explosion occurred in the apartment.

Before the rescuers arrived, one individual was hospitalized. The explosion resulted in the collapse of the kitchen partition, damage to the building's facade tiles, several broken apartment windows, and damage to a parked vehicle.

The rescuers surveyed the area, removed dangerous debris, and secured the site.
