Trump Announces Destruction of Large Submarine Transporting Drugs

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the destruction of a large submarine transporting drugs bound for the United States. He made the announcement on the TruthSocial social network.

The White House leader noted that there were four people on board the submarine, two of whom survived and will be sent to Ecuador and Colombia for prosecution.

"Under my leadership, the United States will not tolerate drug traffickers operating on land or at sea," Trump wrote.

Currently, Trump's administration regards Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro as the de facto leader of two major organized crime groups responsible for drug smuggling and violence in the United States.

Several experts believe that U.S. armed forces are prepared to launch operations in Venezuela targeting several facilities as part of the fight against drug cartels.
