EU Observation Mission in Armenia Writes and Then Deletes the Word 'Genocide'

The EU observation mission in Armenia has edited a post regarding the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on its page, which contained the term 'Genocide'. Subsequently, a new post was published where the term 'Genocide' is absent, instead stating that the mission pays tribute to the memory of the Armenian victims of 1915-1923.

“This day reminds us that we must do everything to prevent such atrocities from happening again,” it states in the second part of the post, which is the same in both publications.

It is noteworthy that Uruguay was the first to recognize the Armenian Genocide in 1965, followed by France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Greece, Cyprus, Lebanon, Canada, Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the Vatican, Bolivia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Luxembourg, and the USA.
