Kaluga Airport Temporarily Halts Flights
Kaluga's Gryazevka Airport has temporarily suspended flights to ensure flight safety. This was announced by Artem Korenyako, a spokesperson for the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation), on his Telegram channel.
Similar measures were taken in the night of October 17 at the airports of Saratov (Gagarin), Samara (Kurumoch), Krasnodar (Pashkovskiy), and Kaluga (Gryazevka). The restrictions were lifted on the same morning.
At that time, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense measures in Russian regions had destroyed 61 Ukrainian drones. Thirty-two drones were shot down in Crimea, 13 in the Rostov region, six in the Black Sea, and five in the skies over Bryansk region. Two drones were shot down in the Tula and Moscow regions, while another drone was destroyed in the Kursk region.
Earlier, an aircraft carrying officials from the Russian President's administration was unable to take off from Pulkovo Airport for two hours.
