Trump and Putin Meeting Could Happen Within Two Weeks: Peskov

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed during today’s press briefing that a meeting between the presidents of the United States and Russia could take place within the next two weeks. Trump previously mentioned the same timeline, stating that he has agreed to hold negotiations with Vladimir Putin in Budapest.

He indicated that the heads of diplomatic representations will announce where the meeting will occur.

Peskov also noted that it remains unclear how Vladimir Putin’s flight will be organized. It is worth mentioning that Hungary and Russia do not share a common border, so the Russian president's plane will have to fly over the territory of other countries.
