U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the United States is in a trade war with China. "We are already waging a trade war," he responded when asked if the situation could escalate into a trade war with China.
It is worth noting that earlier responses from China's Ministry of Commerce indicated that Beijing is prepared for both negotiations and a trade war.
