It Is Known Where Archbishop Mkrtich and Father Garegin Arsenyan Have Been Transferred

Archbishop Mkrtich of the Aragatsotn Diocese and father Garegin Arsenyan have been transferred to the Nubarashen Penitentiary. This was reported by Sputnik.

It is recalled that Father Aram stated during a broadcast on Public TV that he participated in opposition gatherings under the instructions of his superior, who is the nephew of Garegin B, Archbishop Mkrtich Proshyan of the Aragatsotn Diocese.

Based on this statement, the Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case regarding hindering or coercing the holding or participation in a gathering.

It should be added that Archbishop Mkrtich has been arrested for two months, and the court has also restricted visits from other individuals, except for immediate family members, namely his mother.
