Peskov on Negotiations with Ukraine and Trump-Putin Phone Call

Russian President Vladimir Putin is open to negotiations regarding Ukraine, with the current pause in dialogue attributed to Kyiv's actions. This statement was made by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.

“Moscow is grateful to the U.S. for its willingness to further facilitate a peaceful resolution in Ukraine. It is still unclear whether a phone call between Putin and Trump will take place in the coming days. Putin is always guided by Russia's interests, and all his actions are directed towards that,” Peskov stated.

According to him, the economy of the Russian Federation has considerable security profits to implement all planned programs.
