Pakistan Launches Airstrikes on Afghan Capital, Casualties Reported
The Afghan authorities have reported that clashes with Pakistani forces near the Durand Line, which is considered the official border between the two countries, have resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals. This was stated by Zabihullah Mujahid, a representative of the Afghan government.
He noted that Afghan forces were compelled to take retaliatory measures. More than 100 people have been injured in these operations. During the confrontations, several Pakistani military personnel were killed, their outposts and bases were captured, and some military facilities were destroyed.
It should be recalled that earlier, it was reported that the Pakistani armed forces opened fire in response to an attack on outposts in the Kurram district of the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which borders Afghanistan.
