Armenia's Development Programs Must Align with Strategic Goals, Says Deputy Prime Minister
Under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, a regular meeting of the coordination platform for Armenia’s development partners was held at the government. About sixty leaders and representatives from diplomatic missions and international organizations in Armenia participated in the meeting.
The agenda focused on the progress of public administration reforms in the areas of strategic management and digital transformation. In his opening remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude on behalf of the government for the participation in Armenia's development programs and projects, emphasizing the importance of aligning them with Armenia's strategic goals and priorities.
“Every action in the direction of public administration reforms has a direct or indirect impact on the sustainable development of our country and the strengthening of democratic values,” stated Mher Grigoryan.
During the meeting, development partners were presented with the next steps for collaborative work with the government and the structure and directions of upcoming cooperation. In particular, the discussion covered a new system of strategic management, the directions of six planned strategies, the electronic platform for managing Armenia's development assistance, and the work done in the direction of digital transformation.
At the end of the meeting, there was an exchange of ideas on questions of interest to international partners, and the parties committed to continue their collaborative work within the framework of public administration reforms.
