Days ago, officers from the Main Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, in collaboration with investigators from the Arabkir Investigation Division of the Yerevan Investigative Committee, uncovered one of this year's most high-profile attempts at a large-scale theft, as well as an armed robbery. Most of the participants in the crime were foreign nationals, as reported by shamshyan.com.
On October 10, operational information was received at the criminal police division that an armed robbery with firearms had occurred at one of the addresses on K’erru Street. Criminal and community police arrived at the specified address, confirming the authenticity of the received information.
Four masked individuals dressed in military uniforms from the Russian Federation entered a private home located at 67 K’erru Street while armed with pistols. The victim had rented out the rooms of his house to citizens, and they committed the robbery by taking mobile phones and a significant amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
It was discovered that the crime was committed by 40-year-old Mher R. from Yerevan, while his accomplices included citizens from the Republic of Tajikistan: 38-year-old Makhmudov M., 38-year-old Usmanov D., 37-year-old Kasimov M., 42-year-old Yatimov H., 45-year-old Jomakhmadov M., 28-year-old Satorov M., 43-year-old Shoyev D., and 27-year-old Saidov F.
The criminal police managed to locate these individuals in Yerevan and various regions, arresting them on suspicion of robbery and transferring them to the Arabkir police station, from where they were presented to the Arabkir investigative division.
