Which Roads Are Affected by Blizzards

Until February 15, the section of the M-6 highway from Vanadzor to Alaverdi, between km 38-40, will be closed to buses and heavy vehicles with trailers or semi-trailers due to road repair work. A detour will be available through the town of Noyemberyan.

In the Aragatsotn region, roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude weather station to the Amberd Fortress and the Kar Lake are closed.

The Bavra-Karmravan, Berd-Chambarak roads, and the Vardenyats Pass are closed due to blizzards, as well as intercommunity roads in the Ashtarak region and near Lake Arpi, which are inaccessible to all types of vehicles.

The Alagyaz-Tsilkar road is difficult for trucks to navigate due to snow, while the Zar-Sevaberd, Jraber-Fantan, Kotayk-Hatis, and roads in the Amasia region are difficult for all types of vehicles.

Blizzards have also been reported in the "Meghru Mount" area (snow) and in the Shinuhr-Air segment, as well as on roads connecting Amasia and Aparan regions and along the Artik-Alagyaz road.

Ground blizzards are occurring in the Ashtarak region.
