Zelensky on Upcoming Meeting with Trump

Vladimir Zelensky has announced that he hopes to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington on Friday to exert pressure again regarding long-range weapons.

Earlier, the Financial Times reported that Trump plans to host Zelensky in Washington on October 17.

"I will meet with President Trump this week in Washington. I think we need to discuss the sequence of steps that I want to propose to the president," Zelensky said during a press briefing broadcast on the Ukrainian 'Public' television channel.

It is still too early to discuss the quantity and the possibility of transferring Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. I shared our vision with Trump, and some things are not suitable for a phone conversation, so we will meet," Zelensky noted.
