Protest Near Government Building: Drivers Engaged in Freight Transportation Present Demands

A number of drivers involved in freight transportation to Russia are staging a protest near the Armenian government's building. They are calling on the authorities to negotiate with Russia and amend the allowable duration of their stay in Russia.

As of January 1 of this year, citizens from countries with a non-visa regime entering Russia for non-work purposes are allowed to stay for 90 days within a calendar year.
