This was reported by SHAMSHYAN.com.

On October 10, operational information was received at the Criminal Police Department indicating that an armed robbery had occurred at an address on K'erru Street. Criminal and community police arrived at the location, and it became clear that the received operational information was credible.

Four individuals, wearing military uniforms from the Russian Federation and masked, entered a private home located at 67 K'erru Street, which was rented out as accommodation. They committed armed robbery, stealing mobile phones and large sums of money before fleeing the scene.

On the same day, criminal proceedings were initiated at the Arabkir Investigation Division based on the features of Article 252, Part 3, Subparagraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. According to the photojournalist's information, the victims are citizens of China.

Criminal and community police, along with investigators from the Arabkir Investigation Division, conducted extensive operational-search and investigative activities over several days, successfully identifying and apprehending the suspects, including four firearms used in the crime.

It was established that the crime was committed by 40-year-old Mher R. from Yerevan, with his accomplices being 38-year-old Mahmoudov M., 38-year-old Usmanov D., 37-year-old Kasimov M., 42-year-old Yatimov H., 45-year-old Jomakhmadov M., 28-year-old Satorov M., 43-year-old Shoiev D., and 27-year-old Saidov F. from Tajikistan.

Law enforcement successfully located and arrested these individuals suspected of robbery in Yerevan and the surrounding areas, subsequently transferring them to the Arabkir police division, from where they were presented to the Arabkir Investigation Division. During personal searches of these suspects, stolen items were found, including tablets, mobile phones, and a large portion of the money, as well as the four firearms used in the crime.

Two of the suspects remain wanted. The photojournalist also reported that this group attempted to steal a bitcoin wallet belonging to the Chinese citizens, which was allegedly worth around 6 million dollars.

The operation to disclose the crime was led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aram Ghazaryan, upon instruction from Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan. This case exemplifies the effective and swift work of the criminal and community police and investigators, who managed not only to reveal but also to apprehend the perpetrators and recover the stolen items and weapons used in the crime.

Notice: A suspect in a presumed crime is considered innocent until proven guilty by a legally binding court decision in accordance with the rules established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
