French Government Cabinet Re-established

The French presidential palace has announced the composition of the government led by Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, returning to office just days after his resignation.

Jean-Noël Barrot has once again been appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs. The previous Minister of Labor, Catherine Vautrin, has taken on the role of Minister of Armed Forces. Laurent Nunez, a representative of the Paris police, has been appointed Minister of the Interior. Gérald Darmanin has been reappointed as Minister of Justice. Roland Lescure retains his position as Minister of Economy and Finance. The Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, also remains in her role.

On October 10, French President Emmanuel Macron reappointed Lecornu as Prime Minister, who had resigned from the post on October 6 after serving for less than a month.
