No Matter How Much They Defame, Our Demand is Just: Margarita Khachatryan
Today, the people called, saying, "Ms. Margarita, we are in front of the government building, where are you?" I rejoined my people, no matter whether I am blind or lame, let them defame us as much as they want, our demand is just.
These remarks were made by Margarita Khachatryan, the chairperson of the "Soldier" Coordinating Council, during an interview with journalists in front of the government building.
Khachatryan opined that priority should have been given to the families of those killed in the army: “We can also appeal to the European Court regarding the status under which our children were taken, killed, and returned to us. We want an official statement from the Ministry of Finance explaining why funds were allocated and given to the families of the victims of March 1. The families of the deceased should have been given priority, not those who loot shops from the Opera to the city hall.”
