Trump: A Very Tough and Professional Negotiator

The President of the United States, welcoming the peace agreement reached regarding Gaza, announced that the agreement pertains not only to Gaza but to the entire Middle East. He emphasized that Hamas has been destroyed.

“Hamas is a very tough and professional negotiator. I am proud that Iran and Russia have also supported this agreement. This peace pertains to the entire Middle East, and I hope it will bring stability to the region,” Trump stated.

It is noteworthy that on the night of October 10, the Israeli government approved a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the release of hostages held by Hamas. According to the document, the Israeli Defense Forces must withdraw from the areas around Gaza, after which Hamas will have 72 hours to release the hostages.

Israel is expected to free nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for 48 hostages taken during Hamas's attack on October 7, 2023. The release of hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and the partial withdrawal of Israeli forces represent the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump's peace plan concerning the resolution of the conflict in Gaza.
