Main Part of Fire in Nubarashen Landfill Extinguished

The main fire source that broke out in the Nubarashen landfill has been extinguished, with only a small area still remaining active. This information has been provided to the media by the Yerevan City Hall.

“Since midnight, the fire trucks of the ‘Yerevan Waste Management and Sanitation’ company have been working, and soil is being transported by trucks to cover the area. The rescue service has also joined the efforts. The main part of the fire has been extinguished, and at this moment, only smoke is visible,” the city hall reported.

It is worth noting that a fire broke out in the Nubarashen landfill overnight.
