All This Would Be Impossible Without Trump: Netanyahu on the Conflict in Gaza
The agreement to free Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip would not have been possible without the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump and his team, stated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a cabinet meeting, where the approval of the agreement with the Palestinian Hamas movement is anticipated.
“This is a decisive moment. Over the past two years, we have fought to achieve our war goals, and the most important thing is to bring back all hostages, both living and deceased. And we are going to do that. We could not have achieved this without President Trump and his team – Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner’s extraordinary assistance. These efforts, along with the bravery of our soldiers who entered Gaza, created a combined military and diplomatic pressure that isolated Hamas. I believe that is what brought us to this point,” Netanyahu said.
The cabinet meeting, convened to approve the agreement with Hamas, was also attended by U.S. Ambassador for Gaza Conflict Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who is the son-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump.
