They Need Syunik, and That's 100% Truth: Armen Ashotyan
During a recent summit of Turkic-speaking countries in the Azerbaijani city of Gabala, a resolution was adopted concerning Aliyev's rhetoric and formulations about the "Zangezur Corridor." However, another equally important aspect has remained overlooked. This was noted by the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan.
"The 14-page document lists significant international issues for member states and the organization, such as Northern Cyprus, Syria, Afghanistan, Central Asia, and more. Yet there is no mention of the fact regarding the preliminary signing of the Armenian-Azerbaijani 'peace' agreement in Washington. The insignificance of the mentioned document, and its mere existence as a piece of paper in real politics, is hard to find a more cynical and glaring proof of. This aspect becomes even more evident against the backdrop of the formulations regarding Syunik. Turkey and Azerbaijan have no regard for the 'peace' agreement. They need Syunik, and that is 100% truth. No matter how much Nikol and his puppets try to sell 'peace' to the domestic audience, the paper underlying it is just waste paper in real politics," Ashotyan wrote.
