David Tonoyan on His Son Serving in the Army

David Tonoyan on His Son Serving in the Army

Earlier today, during a ceremony at Victory Park dedicated to the May holiday celebrations, Defense Minister David Tonoyan was reminded by journalists about Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement from yesterday, regarding soldiers in the army having good shirts and underwear. They inquired if he sends underwear to his son, Private Tonoyan, who is currently serving in the army.

"No, I don't send them, I make him wash them," was Tonoyan's response, adding that his son, who has been serving in the army for a year now, has become a corporal.

The minister also noted that previously, the underwear supplied to the army was single-use, whereas now the quality is higher and it can be used multiple times.
