Serious Questions: Lavrov on NATO's Statements
Moscow considers Arab countries as promising partners in the development of the Eurasian continental security architecture, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“NATO is now declaring that their mission is to ensure the security of the territories of member countries, and the threats currently come from the South China Sea. They have said that. They are now actively positioning their infrastructure in the eastern fringes of Eurasia. Therefore, these are also serious questions,” he said.
Lavrov added that this is a very important topic in the context of forming the substantive basis for a large Eurasian partnership and building the architecture of Eurasian continental security on it.
