Russia to Compensate for the Tragedy, Putin Tells Aliyev

Vladimir Putin assured Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that the Russian side would compensate for the tragedy and that a legal assessment of the actions of those responsible would be made.

The President of Russia stated that the causes of the plane crash have become clear after a thorough analysis of the incident. It is noteworthy that President Aliyev thanked Vladimir Putin for the information regarding the AZAL airplane.

Earlier, Putin mentioned that the crash of the AZAL plane is also related to the presence of a Ukrainian drone in the sky at the time of the incident.
