No One Is Interested in Further Deterioration of the Situation: IAEA on Russian-Ukrainian Conflict

The process of restoring external electricity supplies to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant has begun following communications between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the authorities of Russia and Ukraine. This is stated in a statement from the international organization.
"The process of restoring external electricity has started after frequent communications between the two sides in recent weeks aimed at resolving the issue related to the recent power outages amid the armed conflict," the text states.
According to the organization’s Director General Rafael Grossi, "No one is interested in further deterioration of the situation."
