Kurdish Forces Attack Syrian Army Positions

The Kurdish forces have violated the ceasefire and launched an attack on Syrian army positions in the eastern Aleppo province, according to a statement from the Syrian Ministry of Defense.

"Forty-eight hours after the declaration of the ceasefire, the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) has breached the agreement more than 10 times by attacking army positions in eastern Aleppo from their deployment sites," state Syrian Al-Ikhbariyah television.

According to the statement, one soldier was killed and several others were injured as a result of shelling on army positions near the Tishrin dam.
