Europeans No Longer Striving for Peace, Says Peskov

There is currently a significant pause in the dialogue process regarding the Ukrainian settlement. This was reported by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.

“Clearly, the excited Europeans are no longer striving for any peace process. They believe that something will change on the battlefield, and they will have positive dynamics. The situation suggests otherwise,” Peskov stated.

He also noted that there has been no substantive response from Kyiv regarding the draft documents and working groups, and there is no movement on this front. The Kremlin representative further mentioned that there is no agenda for a new meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
