Warsaw Needs a Pretext to Incite Anti-Russian Hysteria, Says Russian Foreign Ministry

Poland is not interested in a serious investigation or evidence regarding the situation surrounding the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) reportedly shot down on its territory. According to Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Warsaw only needs a pretext to incite anti-Russian hysteria.

It is worth mentioning that on September 10, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that 'dangerous' drones had been shot down in Polish airspace, labeling them as Russian but failing to provide any evidence. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, later stated that more than ten drones had been involved.

Andrei Ordash, acting charge d'affaires of the Russian embassy, told RIA Novosti that Poland had not presented any evidence regarding the alleged Russian origin of the UAVs purportedly shot down in its territory.
