Russia Rejects U.S. Proposal, Ryabkov Says
Russia does not accept the U.S. proposal to maintain quantitative restrictions on strategic weapons for one more year after the expiration of the "New START" treaty, in connection with the possible transfer of U.S. Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.
“These are different things,” Ryabkov said in response to a question about whether Russia accepts the U.S. proposal concerning the "New START" treaty regarding the possible transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
