Ronaldo Names Only One Team Where He Would Be Willing to Spend His Entire Career
The star forward of Al Nassr and the Portuguese national team, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reflected on his football career. The 40-year-old player stated that if it were possible, he would prefer to spend his entire career with the Portugal national team. This was reported by ArmSport.am.
“I have been with the national team for 22 years. I think that speaks for itself about my passion for this jersey, victories, and games of the national team in general. If it were possible, I would play only for the national team, not for any club. That is the pinnacle of a footballer's career,” Ronaldo said during the Portugal Football Globe awards ceremony.
It is noteworthy that during the awards ceremony, Ronaldo was honored with the Globo Prestigio award for his achievements and journey with the national team. Cristiano has become a European champion with the Portugal national team and a two-time winner of the Nations League, scoring 141 goals and providing 45 assists in 223 matches.
