Microbiological Violations at 'Zaviki Gars': Activities Suspended
The State Service for Food Safety of Armenia has conducted an inspection at the public catering establishment 'Zaviki Gars' (located in Yerevan, Sayran), where product sampling was carried out and sent for laboratory testing.
According to the results of the laboratory examination, samples from the product 'Pita with Pork and Chicken Shawarma' showed violations in the levels of Mesophilic Aerobic and Faculative Anaerobic Microorganisms (MAFAnMK), Enterobacteriaceae (E.coli), Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus), and pathogenic Salmonella, while the 'Mayonnaise' product also failed to meet the regulatory requirements concerning the same indicators.
By the decision of the head of the State Food Safety Service, the operational activities of the public catering establishment have been suspended until the identified violations are rectified.
