Gunshots in Yerevan’s Hrazdan Gorge: Shooter Missed Enjoying Gangster Symbol Cake

Gunshots were heard in Yerevan on September 7. Around 10:50 PM, operational information was received at the Malatya Division of the Police of the Republic of Armenia regarding shots fired in the area of the "8th Wonder" restaurant complex in Hrazdan Gorge. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

According to the news outlet, the operational group of the Malatya Division and patrol officers from the first company of the Yerevan battalion of the police also arrived at the scene.

Police and investigators discovered one shell casing and one bullet at the scene. They established that at approximately 10:50 PM, a 33-year-old resident of Yerevan, Arthur H., fired shots from a pistol while celebrating his birthday at the "8th Wonder" restaurant.

While the officers were conducting an investigation at the scene, the criminal investigation department of the Malatya Division, along with patrol officers, located Arthur H. and took him to the Malatya division of the police. He was found in possession of a pistol, which was unloaded.

Reportedly, the shooter was with his friends at the time and was unable to taste the gangster symbol cake prepared for his birthday after firing the shots. He was subsequently presented to the Malatya investigation department, where criminal proceedings were initiated regarding the incident.

Note: The suspect in the alleged crime is considered innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Armenia by a legally binding court verdict.
