Pashinyan Was a Decoration at the White House, Says Robert Kocharian

Former Armenian President Robert Kocharian commented during today’s press conference on the preliminary agreement signed in the United States on August 8, elaborating on what each party has gained from the document.

“The United States secured future control over the corridor that is to be established, the potential for actual control over the border with Iran, and the nomination for a Nobel Prize for the US President,” said Kocharian.

According to the second president, Azerbaijan received the right to establish a corridor through Armenian territory, the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group, and the annulment of the 907th resolution.

“What has Armenia gained? I have tried to find specifics in these documents: 0, only problems. What has Nikol Pashinyan gained? There is a very specific thing that the Prime Minister of Armenia received: a picture with Trump’s signature. He received a document with no legal force that allows him to deceive the Armenian people once again. What preliminary conclusion can be drawn from this occasion? Nikol Pashinyan was a decoration at the White House,” concluded Kocharian.
