I Wish Success to All Forces Who Have Already Decided to Participate in the Elections: Serj Sargsyan

We do not have a decision, we are busy with other matters. This was stated in a conversation with reporters by the third President of Armenia, Serj Sargsyan, in the courthouse.

“I wish success to all those forces who have already decided to participate in the 2026 elections. We do not have a decision; we are busy with other matters. When the time comes, in our opinion, we will announce our decision,” said Sargsyan.

Regarding the report of the commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war, he noted that they will not be able to send their blame for capitulation to the archive. “Of course, they will not be able to. This is not accurate information, in my opinion, after the formation of the commission, the commissioners were told to work calmly, we will see later what will happen, and so on. They consciously allowed the commission to violate the legally stipulated deadlines for the investigation and then said, ‘Well, they violated, why are you bringing it to the National Assembly, why are you bringing it for discussion, send it to the archive,” he stated.

It is worth noting that the next court session in the case of the third President of Armenia has been postponed and is scheduled for October 22 at 16:00.
