There Is Not Even One Punctuation Mark We Cannot Justify: Mamijanyan

I am presenting a project for the first time in this committee. However, if you are ready to engage in a substantive discussion with me on the topic of the national crisis and the failure of governance, I will clear my entire day today and gladly devote it to that. But alas, I doubt you will do such a thing.

This was stated by Hayk Mamijanyan, the leader of the 'I Have Honor' parliamentary group, during a meeting of the RA National Assembly's State and Legal Affairs Committee, referring to the remarks made by QP deputy Alkhaz Ghazaryan, who remarked that it would be pointless to engage in a substantive discussion on the vote of no confidence against Nikol Pashinyan since the project would go to the plenary session anyway.

Committee chairman Vladimir Vardanyan also mentioned that if necessary, they should stay all day and discuss the matter in the committee meeting. 'We are ready and we do not shy away from it in any way,' Vardanyan said.

Alkhaz Ghazaryan insisted that there is no need for a substantive discussion, as the presented project is akin to an essay. 'That is, it was predictable that we would take it to the plenary session, meaning that there is no need for discussion.'

Mamijanyan responded that it would be appropriate to refrain from school-like formulations so as not to begin discussing the projects presented by the QP. 'If you can enter into a substantive discussion around a project with such a title, I will gladly clear my entire day's schedule and discuss it contentiously with you all day. I assure you, there is not even one punctuation mark in this statement that we cannot justify,' Mamijanyan said.
