New Composition of the Internal Audit Committee of the Prosecutor's Office Established
The Chief Prosecutor of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, signed order N 81-L on October 1st, establishing the new composition of the Internal Audit Committee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the order, the committee consists of seven members, including:
- Anna Vardapetyan – Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia (Committee Chair)
- Yediazar Avagyan – Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia (Committee Member)
- Mher Apikian – Chief Secretary of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia (Committee Member)
- Lala Bezoian – Deputy Chief Secretary of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia (Committee Member)
- Vahe Hovhannisyan – Deputy Chief Secretary of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia (Committee Member)
- Ruben Arakelyan – Head of the Financial and Economic Department of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia (Committee Member)
- David Harutyunyan – Director of Glob Audit LLC (Committee Secretary)
Notably, the committee includes the head of a private company, David Harutyunyan, who has taken on the responsibilities of the committee's secretary. The previous order N 78-L of the Chief Prosecutor dated October 16, 2024, is deemed void.
The new order comes into effect the day following its publication. The Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia oversees the implementation of the order.
