Israeli Defense Ministry Reports Soldier Deaths in Two-Year War

According to the Israeli Defense Ministry, 1,152 Israeli soldiers have died during the two-year Israeli-Palestinian war, with over 40% of those aged under 21.

The ministry clarified that among the deceased, 141 were over the age of 40, while most of the others were reservists, officers, and soldiers who had extended their service.

The head of the Families of Fallen Soldiers Administration, Arie Moalem, stated that the war has brought "26 years of pain in the span of two years," noting that on some days the country has bid farewell to as many as 90 soldiers simultaneously.
