Impeachment Impossible Without Street Struggle: Haik Mamijanyan
The head of the 'Honorary Title' parliamentary faction, Haik Mamijanyan, stated in a briefing at the National Assembly that the impeachment process cannot occur without popular support, mass public engagement, and street protests, a fact that government representatives are well aware of.
According to Mamijanyan, this is an inseparable and crucial aspect of expressing a lack of confidence in the Prime Minister, and this is how members of the National Assembly from the ruling party will join the process. 'We have chosen a path that does not consider the possibility of failure. Until we have 54 signatures, we will not submit that document. The moment we submit the document, the process will already be victorious, because it will require exactly 54 votes,' said Mamijanyan, adding that irreversible mistakes are being made every day, and therefore this process needs to take place as soon as possible.
