Protests Erupt Again in Tbilisi
Supporters of the opposition have blocked Rustaveli Avenue near the Parliament of Georgia in Tbilisi. According to Georgian media, around 1,000 protesters have gathered near the building. Special forces are on duty near the site.
Following yesterday's events and an attempted attack on the Presidential Palace, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that “any protests today and in the coming days will be considered a continuation of yesterday's events and appropriate measures will be taken.”
