Zelensky Confirms Three Packages of Anti-Russian Measures, Expects EU Sanctions and US Actions
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has released a video message on his Telegram channel, announcing new anti-Russian sanctions.
The politician mentioned the signing of documents regarding various types of restrictions. He extended the sanctions against entrepreneurs linked to the Russian government beyond their initial deadline.
Zelensky ordered measures against manufacturers of drones and components working for the Russian military industry. He also imposed restrictions on individuals and companies related to Russia's oil sector.
According to the state leader, Kyiv continues to exert comprehensive pressure on Moscow and coordinates its actions with its partners. “We expect our sanctions to be synchronized with the sanctions of our partners. We are also anticipating new sanctions from the European Union under 'Package 19' and corresponding steps from the United States,” Zelensky stated.
