All Necessary Steps Must Be Taken Immediately, Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described the response of Hamas to the gas project of U.S. President Donald Trump as constructive. The Turkish leader also called on Israel to immediately cease its assaults on the region.

“All necessary steps must be taken immediately to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and to achieve lasting peace,” Erdogan stated. He also emphasized that Turkey will continue its efforts to ensure that the outcomes of negotiations are maximally beneficial to the Palestinians, and that the conflict is resolved based on the two-state principle.
