To Those Naming Peace: Have You Ever Been a Soldier's Parent? - Gegham Nazaryan
Now you are naming something that we don’t want; this peace humiliates us. What is it that humiliates us when a resident in a village close to the border is already rebuilding their home and considering starting a farming business? What are you talking about?
This was stated by MP Gegham Nazaryan during a session of the National Assembly.
“I appeal to all those who name peace: have you ever been a parent of a soldier, an uncle, a grandfather, or a relative who each time became not even half a person but 0.1 of a person when their child had to be on combat duty for 15 days or 3 weeks? How do those days pass for that parent? What happens?” the MP said during the extraordinary session of the National Assembly.
