Aliyev on the Established Peace Agenda Between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met in Copenhagen with President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. Michel and von der Leyen congratulated Aliyev on the achievements made in Washington regarding the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing hope that this will contribute to ensuring lasting peace in the region.

“Both Armenia and Azerbaijan have already adapted to a peaceful life,” said the Azerbaijani president, noting that he will continue to promote the peace agenda. The president of Azerbaijan emphasized that the achievements related to the peace agenda have historical significance for the entire region, including Armenia and Azerbaijan.
