The persecution of the opposition in Moldova is being carried out in an "obviously dictatorial manner," which is a true failure for Kishinev's Western controllers, stated Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"Some speak of the failure of pro-Western forces, others of the victory of Western forces. I believe this is a global failure for the West. Of course, this is a failure. Because everything has been done so openly and dictatorially that no one has the capability to prove the opposite. And this is not just a shame, it is a failure," Zakharova said, commenting on the persecution of the opposition in Moldova and the recent parliamentary elections in the country.
