KP Member Discusses Lack of Higher Education
During today’s session of the National Assembly, the election of the chairman of the Permanent Committee on Healthcare was discussed. The Civil Contract faction of the National Assembly proposed the candidacy of Hripsime Hunanian for this position. Hunanian graduated in 2003 from Yerevan State Medical College No. 1 in Nursing and has worked as a nurse in various healthcare facilities.
In her speech, Hripsime Hunanian addressed the criticisms raised, stating, “You are questioning the vocational education, which 16,500 nurses possess in Armenia, and without this link, healthcare would be paralyzed. Furthermore, who says that everyone must have higher education? Just because I haven’t pursued higher education doesn’t mean I haven’t been learning continuously. Care, love, and respect are what lie behind this small biography,” said the KP member.
